Christmas and New Year's Cards

Here are just a few Christmas cards I've designed.

For Halloween, my daughter wanted to be Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz.  We thought it'd be fun to run with it and I had a poofy pink ball gown which I'd worn to my Senior Prom in high school so I thought that'd make the perfect Glinda costume.  Then we found a lion costume for my son and made a Tin Man costume for my husband.  I was telling his ex wife about the costumes we'd come up with and we were discussing if there was something that my step son would want to wear from the Wizard of Oz.  We started joking around about her being the Wicked Witch and then it became more serious and she actually decided it'd be fun for us all to go trick-or-treating together.  So incredibly random!  People kept telling me I was such a good sport for doing that--but I wasn't the Wicked Witch!  I think she was the good sport!  So my step son was one of the flying monkeys and my husband's ex wife's older son agreed to dress up as the scarecrow for a picture.  How could I not use that for a Christmas card?!

Here's the Christmas Card we used this year.  It was a 2 sided card.

And I loved this Brady Bunch inspired card I designed for the cute Gillespie family.

Baptism and Priesthood Preview

My sister in law asked me to make a baptism announcement for her son Lucas.  I think it turned out pretty cute.  She didn't have a picture she wanted to use, but Lucas loves Angel Moroni, so I incorporated that in the announcement.  I think it'd also be cute with a photo instead.

One of my best friends is the primary president in our ward, and she asked me to design the invitation for the Priesthood Preview.  I loved the way it turned out.

Stephen's Graduation

I was asked to design the graduation announcements for the son of a friend of mine.  I designed a double sided one and a single sided one.  They had a tough time deciding between the two, but ended up going with the double sided option.

Cipriano Wedding

I had the pleasure of designing the wedding announcements and return address stamp for the Rudd / Cipriano wedding.  They let me know their specifications and I ran with it.  They wanted a semi formal announcement; two sided; with centered lettering; square corners; and black, gray and plum coloring.  They also specified that they wanted the groom's name listed first, and they chose 4 images they wanted included on the back.

Here is the announcement they chose to use:

And the two ceremony cards which were included with the announcements (business card size):

Here are some of the other proof options I designed for them to choose from:
